Ramble on

(For enhanced reading pleasure, please press play on the above song)

Have you ever had a bad stretch were a few things in life went wrong and it put you in a funk for awhile? But as the dust has long settled on the situation, you feel it's time to now move on? You have learned everything there is to learn from the situation. You are coming out a better person for it (or at least you would like to think you are).

It's  that time to pick yourself up and move on.................................ramble on baby!.

It's a good feeling, It's when you realize that whatever the situation was that put you in the funk, has  eased some and you have cleared enough room in your mind, spirit & being to carry on. But carry on a better person. It's like finding yourself again. Oh, how resilient the human spirit can be!

Now, you don't have to overdo the ramble on thing........

But, you can move forward with life either as it was or with a greater purpose. In these situation, I choose to move forward with a greater purpose.

For me, I will ramble like I once did, but with an extra charge in my step. There are too many great things in life yet to discover, so many places to ramble.

Live is a huge ramble fest, I don't know how many times I looked back on my life and ask myself things like "how did I ever get to this point?"  So many things had happened, good and bad that were not in any way shape or form - planned! We all have our own way of rambling through life, I bet if you look back on your life, you would agree that there was a bit of rambling in your path.

The secret to all of this is how to get back to your "flow" your ramble, once you have been knocked off your axis.

Sometimes the road to recovery comes all of a sudden, without notice. Could be what someone says to you, could be a song, could be your own thinking or maybe even the situation that put you in a funk has changed in time.

So what words of wisdom do I have for someone who is currently going through one of life's funks?........

..... Hold on, go through it, feel it all, then come back big. Give more energy to your recovery than you did sitting on your pity pot! Put your favorite upbeat music on and get into ramble mode.

AND.....what a better way to continually move forward than to also write about your experiences. and share your victory with others.

You can visit the blog post I wrote previous to this one to get a better understanding of what had me down for a few weeks. I really appreciated all the comments I received on that post, it helped me very much. Nobody has a better path than anyone else does on these things, we all have our own way of getting back on track.

If you are in a rut, knocked off your axis for a time, remember that this too will pass, time will heal. Come out of it reborn and ready to resume your ramble.......................Ramble on baby!

"I guess I'll keep on ramblin', I'm gonna
Sing my song/Sh-yeah-yeah-yeah-yeah, I've gotta find my baby
I'm gonna ramble on, sing my song
Gonna work my way all around the world
Baby, baby/Ramble on, yeah"
